Dae-Tek Oy

Dae-Tek Oy launched operations on 1 August 1990 and has gone on to achieve a stable market position in the Finnish earthwork machinery sector.

In early 2009 it relocated its operations to new premises. From the very beginning the new site was planned as a centre of heavy machinery sales, thanks to which its operations have become much more effective and an entirely new level of quality has been achieved.

The total area of the centre, which is situated on a two-hectare plot, is 4100 m2, the greater part of which comprises a heavy machinery repair shop (1800 m2) and spare parts warehouse (800 m2). The new, modern office building also has training and seminar rooms for up to 30 people.

The new centre is located in Kerava, just outside of Helsinki, in the Huhtimo industrial area, at Huhtimontie 10-12, 04200 Kerava.

The fact that it is within a short distance of the Lahti highway is not only convenient for clients, but also beneficial in terms of machinery logistics. Visual contact with the highway is also important in terms of advertising.

The new premises is home to the machinery sales office for Southern and Eastern Finland, the central warehouse for spare parts for all of Finland, other activities related to spare parts and the repair shop for heavy machinery.

In addition to its Kerava office, Dae-Tek Oy also has a centre of operations in Lakalaiva in Tampere, where there is a sales office, spare parts sales and heavy machinery repair shop. Sales offices and repair shops also serve clients in Turku and Kuopio, the latter of which provides spare parts services as well. The company's centre of operations for Northern Finland was opened in Sälpätie in Oulu in December 2010. Here, in addition to a sales office, there is a maintenance workshop and a mobile maintenance vehicle providing maintenance on the move. Spare parts services are to be launched in Oulu in the first quarter of 2011.

Alongside the centres of operations listed above, Kone-Viertola Oy in Seinäjoki forms part of our network as a dealer.

In addition to our own workshops, an extensive network of maintenance points throughout Finland also provides our clients with the necessary services.

The brand that Dae-Tek Oy has now primarily represented for more than 20 years is Doosan (formerly Daewoo). The key product group here is wheel and crawler excavators, which account for 20% of market share. We have been the market leader in this segment for a number of years. We also sell Everdigm impact hammers and crushing equipment, Doosan Moxy dumpers and Montabert impact hammers and other equipment.
